About Me
I am a social work scholar, consultant, and thought leader with nearly two decades of experience in violence prevention, organizational systems, and ethical technology design. My career has spanned directing multi-million-dollar evaluations, mentoring diverse professionals, and developing innovative, trauma-informed solutions to complex social challenges.
I also serve as the face and key thought partner for an AI-enabled system designed to detect physical aggression through skeletal motion modeling while preserving privacy. My role has been to shape the system’s ethical framework, guide its research and evaluation, and bring its story to stakeholders, funders, and the public.
This unique vantage point—bridging academic rigor, clinical expertise, and AI innovation—allows me to help organizations transform their most pressing risks into opportunities for leadership. I don’t just study violence prevention; I partner with companies, agencies, and communities to design safer systems, reduce liability, and build trust.
