I’m an Associate Professor of Social Work, researcher, and organizational consultant based in Iowa City. My career has spanned directing multi-million dollar program evaluations, leading qualitative and quantitative research, shaping AI ethics frameworks, and developing leaders across the social work profession.
What I’ve learned across all of it: Most organizational problems are structural, not interpersonal. Most leaders are reacting to the wrong thing. And the right questions — asked by someone who knows how to listen — change everything.
